By using Plant Bite, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

Plant Bite is an AI-powered vegan and vegetarian meal planning app. Features include meal plan generation, pantry-based recipes, nutrition tracking (Premium), grocery lists, and saved meals.

2. Subscription Terms

• Plant Bite Premium is available as a monthly or yearly subscription. Prices are shown in the app and at checkout; they may vary by region and currency.
• Eligible new subscribers may start a 7-day free introductory trial on the monthly or yearly plan. A trial is available once per Apple ID or Google Play account, not once per Plant Bite login.
• After the trial, the subscription auto-renews at the selected price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account (Android) or Apple ID (iOS) at confirmation of purchase, or when a trial converts to a paid period.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.

3. Free Pack

Free users receive a one-time lifetime pack that does not refill each month:

• Meal plans: 3 total.
• Pantry Cook: 5 total.
• AI meal edits: 5 total; day regenerations: 3 total.
• Saved meals: up to 5.
• Nutrition & calorie tracking requires Premium. Progress tracking also requires Premium. Existing meal plans and grocery lists stay visible after you use the pack.

Premium (including during a 7-day trial) uses higher monthly limits. Those limits reset each month on the date you started your current paid Premium (India Standard Time), not on the 1st of the calendar month. After a trial, that is the day paid billing starts, not the first trial day. If you cancel and subscribe again, the new start date applies. Trial usage does not carry into the first paid usage month. See the in-app paywall for Premium limits.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain Premium access until then.

• Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Plant Bite → Cancel
• iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Plant Bite → Cancel

5. Refunds

• Refund requests are handled by Google (Android) or Apple (iOS) according to their respective refund policies.
• We do not process refunds directly. Please contact the respective app store for refund requests.

6. AI-Generated Content

Meal plans, recipes, and macros are AI-generated and for informational purposes only.

• AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional medical, dietary, or nutritional advice.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated nutritional data or recipes.
• Always consult a healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes, especially if you have allergies, medical conditions, or specific nutritional needs.

You are responsible for verifying ingredients and suitability (including allergens).

7. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• You may not use the app for any unlawful purpose or to abuse AI limits or the service.

8. Intellectual Property

• The Plant Bite app, its design, logos, and original content are the property of the developer.
• AI-generated meal plans and recipes are for your personal use; do not redistribute them commercially without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Plant Bite is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on AI-generated content.
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for Premium in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account Deletion & Termination

• You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete Account.
• Deletion is immediate and permanent. Your account, profile, meal plans, saved meals, grocery lists and nutrition log are erased and cannot be recovered.
• Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. See section 4 (Cancellation) — you must cancel through Apple or Google, or billing continues.
• You can also request deletion from our account deletion page or by emailing plantbiteinc@gmail.com from your registered email.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behaviour.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Plant Bite after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the courts of India.
